Drawing and process review
Begin with a controlled drawing revision, material specification and expected quantity. Identify functional interfaces, threads, fit requirements, visible surfaces and dimensions that require particular attention. Feasibility, tooling needs and inspection methods are assessed against the individual part.
Tooling and stamping
Tooling design and stamping requirements depend on part geometry, material condition and the planned production volume. The project brief should identify forming features, burr limits, dimensional references and any secondary operations. Specific equipment and achievable tolerances are confirmed during technical review.
Samples and production handover
A sample review should resolve dimensional, appearance and assembly requirements before repeat orders. Approved drawings, agreed samples and change records establish the reference for subsequent production. Packaging should protect exposed surfaces and keep different part revisions identifiable.
Planning your component
Provide drawings, material grade, surface finish, annual demand and initial order quantity. Flag any functional tests, mating parts or special packing requirements. This information supports a more meaningful feasibility discussion.
